As you know October is Breast Cancer awareness month and as a Survivor fundraising for support and research into this disease that affects 1 in 8 women is something close to my heart. Since my own diagnosis and personal journey five years ago, I have been a big supporter and advocate of the amazing work done by Breast Cancer Now. I have modelled in their Fashion Show, been the keynote speaker at their Christmas Carol Concert, my photo with no hair has been used on support materials and more recently I have been accepted as a Volunteer Patient Advocate.
As I’ve written many times on my website when I was going through treatment being able to lose myself in my Art was therapeutic. My Sister, who lives in America, has a software company which sells process automation and integration business software. When we were together recently, we were talking about what I do for charity and how I combine that with my art. She came up with an idea to use one of my paintings on a phone grip as a giveaway for some trade show events that she was attending in October, and at the same time, raise awareness for Breast Cancer Now and use these events as a fundraiser. Her Company, Fisher Technology’s ethos is for corporate responsibility for their Community. So they have turned their website pink and have written these two blogs:

During the month of October I will also be donating 10% of all the profits from any sales I make of my paintings or products on my website. I hope you enjoy shopping on my website. You can also donate directly to Breast Cancer Now https://breastcancernow.org/donate
